Before purchasing a retirement property it is essential that you are fully aware of the items within the developments lease, the people involved as Landlord and Managing Agent and the services provided.

As with buying any leasehold property, it is imperative to review the contract thoroughly with a solicitor. As you can imagine, buying any property is a big commitment and you need to make sure you are well informed before making your decision.

Peverel Retirement House Manager working hours vary, depending on the development and whether they are residential or non-residential, however the House Manager will generally supervise the communal facilities and grounds of the development to ensure a safe, secure and well maintained environment. It is important to be aware of the service charge and what it covers. The service charge is the amount you pay for the upkeep of the fabric of the development and to cover the cost of services provided in accordance with the terms of your lease.
