Welcome to 'Your Questions Answered'. This information service allows Peverel Retirement customers to submit their questions relating to retirement property management.

You are more than welcome to ask us a question about any aspect of retirement property – perhaps you would like to know more about the role of the House Manager, the role of the Managing Agent, the services which comprise the Service Charge or your obligations as a leaseholder?

Residents are free to choose a supplier of their choice. Although Peverel Retirement has no involvement with this, we do advise Residents not to affix anything to the interior/exterior of the property without permission. However, I would presume that this will not be the case.
Currently, Peverel Retirement uses ABS as the main supplier; however, Sky have recently started to offer a free shared dish which anyone can connect to - providing they take out a subscription and as long as a minimum of four households in the development use the service. With a minimum subscription of around £16 a month, the cost for two years could be under £350. There is no ongoing maintenance charge and Sky will work directly with the landlord and managing agent to set it up.
